George Brown

George Brown is an English and Genocide Studies major with a minor in Jewish Studies. He serves as Editor-in-Chief and President of the Beacon. Hoping to work in law and write on the side, for now, he spends his free time reading fiction and poetry while writing the occasional short story. Some of his favorite poets include Rilke, Gluck, and Plath, although he has a special affection for poets writing in Spanish, such as Lorca. Besides writing, he enjoys horticulture, especially growing strawberries using permaculture techniques.
